Goin' Out with a Bang!

The parties in the campground are legendary. Revelers half-clothed and braver than normal to take every dare tossed their way...provided AMPLE opportunity for lots of funny photos...all of which can be viewed in our photo gallery.

It was apparent that even though the entertainment ON STAGE was wrapped up for 2009 at Country JAM...the entertainment in the campgrounds was still reaching for maximum overdrive.

It's a pretty cool set up over in Whispering Pines Campground, with the bar and a deck that overlooks the outdoor dance floor (monstrous concrete slab) and DJ booth on steroids.

People were HAPPY. People were LOUD. It was AWESOME! Bumped into lots of people from the La Crosse area...and even a few who are going to school up in River Falls and Eau Claire that are originally from La Crosse.

I lost my voice. But it's slowly coming back. Not sure if that was from screaming "I LOVE YOU GARY!" during the Gary Allan show...or from whoopin' it up at the post-concert party at the campgrounds. Good times.

Country JAM has already announced that Alan Jackson, Sugarland & Miranda Lambert would be here for 2010. Mark your calendars now: July 22nd - 24th, 2010. I CAN'T WAIT!!
